VISA ON ARRIVAL AT POINT OF ENTRY FOR AFRICAN COUNTRIES


The Nigeria Immigration Service has made clarifications regarding Visa on Arrival at the point of Entry, for holders of passports of African Countries.
A statement by the Service' Public Relations Officer, Sunday James indicates that the Visa on Arrival at the point of Entry with effect from January 2020 was introduced to accelerate African Integration.
Nigeria took the strategic decision to break barriers that hinder free movement of people within the continent.

The statement adds that Comptroller General of Immigration Muhammad Babandede is assuring Nigerians of the Service' commitment to ensure high level professional ethics in delivering the relevant services, without compromising National Security.
